About

I’m Khalid, a Software engineer. I currently work at Integrated Analytics Solutions providing developing Software solutions for large pharma firms. I have overrseen projects for Takeda and Crinetics. A large chunk of my work is around developing backend services and the operational machinery around them: APIs that keep a contract under load, state that reconciles instead of drifting, and test suites that make the next change safe.

I write here about the parts of that work that generalise, where probabilistic tools earn their place in a deterministic system, what asynchronous contracts cost, and how state reconciliation behaves when reality disagrees with the database.
